what does the role entail?
You will lead the inspection, measurement, and Parts Quality Engineering teams. You will monitor part quality, support new product launches through PPAP, and ensure that ISO 9001 processes are followed correctly. Your role has a direct impact on quality, production continuity, and the performance of our suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Lead the inspection, measurement, and Parts Quality Engineering teams
Responsible for PPAP and reporting to the launch team
Monitoring supplier quality, including escalations and problem-solving
Recovering costs for non-conforming parts from suppliers
Managing departmental budgets and time tracking
Monitoring ISO 9001 compliance and preparing for internal and external audits
Daily management of Parts Quality Engineers and team leaders across all inspection zones
Who are we looking for?
Required experience:
Master’s degree in engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience
Strong analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysis and risk assessment
Familiar with ISO 9001, PPAP, audits, and general quality processes
Leadership experience and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
Fluency in Dutch and English
Nice-to-haves:
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is a plus
Experience in supplier quality and cost recovery from suppliers
Experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
